Tia Nearmyer
Principal
Tia’s political career spans nearly two decades. She began by working in state and federal government, before logging nearly ten years on the ground with campaigns throughout the country – including mayoral, congressional, and gubernatorial races.
Since joining AGENCY in 2016, Tia has created successful mail programs for local, state, and federal races across the country. Her work on ballot measures and with state legislatures has helped preserve fundamental rights in red states and push more progressive policies in purple states.
An Iowa native, Tia grew up on the century family farm her father still operates. Tia and her husband have two young sons and a labradoodle. They live in Des Moines and enjoy taking in football games, kayaking, and traveling.
Tia’s life hack: “I schedule regular dinner dates with my friends. It helps me keep in touch with them and gives all of us a regular opportunity to disconnect from work. We keep it monthly to ensure we all prioritize making time to be together.”
