Senior Graphic Designer

As a Senior Graphic Designer with AGENCY you will be responsible for working directly with the creative and account services team to ensure strategic direct mail campaigns are designed, edited, approved and sent to print on deadline. 

The ideal candidate for this position will be creative, detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated. This is the job for you if you have a positive outlook, are excellent at interpersonal communication, and are capable of delivering excellent design. 

This role is remote, and candidates must be based in the US. 

As a Senior Graphic Designer with AGENCY, you will be Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with our Creative and Client Service teams to concept and design direct mail campaigns
  • Establish or implement existing branding for individual campaigns
  • Creating compelling political branding and logo design
  • Deliver industry leading design and error-free editing on time sensitive timelines
  • Quality control and preflight final jobs to send to printers
  • Quickly switching between a variety of work and clients
  • Availability to meet client deadlines including night and weekend work as needed.
  • Direct a team of designers to efficiently deliver quality design
  • Mentor junior designers to implement design direction

This is a position for the 2024 election cycle. Similar to our campaign clients, our staff are expected to put in long and irregular hours as needed. The compensation range for this position is $6,100 monthly, based on employee location and experience. Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional graphic design experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work remotely, both individually and with a team
  • Expertise working in and understanding of best practices for Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Firefly or other AI design tools
  • Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and quick learner along with creative thinking
  • Comfortable delegating design work to other members of a team
  • Ability to work within project management software, cloud file storage, and folder structure
  • Ability to create high volumes of original designs based on creative memos from client service staff
  • Have strong visual skills with careful attention to detail and attentiveness to different project goals
  • Ability to effectively articulate design feedback to junior design staff

Senior Account Executives are responsible for leading the creative, production, and design process, drafting and maintaining budgets, serving in a lead role on client accounts, and managing junior staff. 

You are the ideal candidate for this position if you have at least 2 cycles of political experience in a mid or senior-level role, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with teammates based locally and around the country, and a commitment to delivering excellence. This is a role for you if you’re extremely detail-oriented, very well-organized, and self-motivated.

This role is remote, and candidates must be based in the US. 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Ability to lead creative, production, and design processes, working across teams and with the client to ensure client service expectations are exceeded. 
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple project timelines and ensuring deadlines are the highest priority. 
  • Experience managing staff is preferred and the ability to maintain a positive leadership presence while producing excellent client work is required for success in this position
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including direct conversations, written communication like Gchat and email, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use project management software
  • Ability to complete assigned work between 9 am-6 pm Central Time, Monday through Friday

Account Assistant

Account assistants will service the internal client services team so they can service our clients to the very best of our ability. You will not be responsible for client interaction. Instead, you will assist with ensuring client files, internal deadlines, and deliverables are met with accuracy and speed. 

  • Account assistants will communicate clearly and proactively about workload, client needs, quality of work, and deadlines with team members and project leads. 
  • The account assistant is responsible for maintaining client files to AGENCY standards at all times, including all client-provided assets and AGENCY-created materials
  • Performing invoicing and other administrative tasks for the team as needed, such as drafting memos for photoshoots, sorting photos after photo shoots, shell memos, and creative briefs, under the supervision of management at AGENCY. 
  • Account assistants will assist their direct supervisor with ensuring day-to-day creative, art, QC, and production processes are being executed on time and on budget 
  • Account assistants will support the proofreading and editing process of client projects

The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated. This is the job for you if you have a positive outlook, are excellent at interpersonal communication, and are self-motivated. 

This role is remote, and candidates must be based in the US. 

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 year of relevant political experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and a comfort level with learning new software
  • Strong, responsive written and verbal communication, including direct conversations with managers, receiving and acting on feedback, and communicating via email and slack. 
  • Confidence in managing expectations team members and project leads, especially deadlines
  • Customer service experience is a huge plus. 
  • A bachelor’s degree is not required.
